Elton Boat Club

Elton Boat Club is a community members Club, with over 100 members and moorings for 55 boats, located on the River Nene, near Warmington Mill, Oundle, Northamptonshire.

Open Day

We regret that there will not be an Open Day this year; next year we will be back with games, stalls, boat rides and, hopefully, a 'fly past'.

The object of the Club is to foster and facilitate the pastime of boating and to provide social and practical facilities for members.

The website is set up to introduce the Club and its activities to potential new members and visitors and to provide links to contacts and other relevant organisations.

The Club has been in existence since 1974 and is self-financed, the majority of income being generated by subscription and mooring fees.  The Club relies heavily on voluntary help from Members for all aspects of club maintenance and organisation.  Management is by a committee elected by the members, and the Club is a member of the Association of Nene River Clubs and affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association.  Mooring length is restricted to 36 feet and therefore the majority of boats are river cruisers.
